Over the past weeks students have been investigating their five senses in a variety of activities around the classroom. We investigated our sight, what we feel, hearing, taste, as well as smell. One activity is where students had to stick their hands in a box and guess the object that they felt. Another activity allowed children to look at an eye chart. With a magnifying class, they were able to see even really small letters. We had water beads in our sensory table, where children had to describe what they were feeling. In art students were to use different feelings/textures to create rubbings on paper. Children also had the opportunity to be able to sort different types of tastes. On the carpet children had to compare their height to a skeleton! It was lots of fun!
